About Christina

I am dually licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and Addiction Counselor. I have 13 years of experience as a masters level therapist addressing a variety of mental health concerns and substance use disorders. My experience has included outpatient therapy, inpatient/residential treatment, and community-based services. As a therapist is private practice, I focus on ethical, client-centered treatment tailored to your needs.

I have advanced training in treating trauma including the modalities of EMDR and CPT. Other areas I am trained in include military and veteran culture and biofeedback as a Certified HeartMath Practitioner. I am also an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist to provide ear acupuncture. I have studied the work of Elaine Aron, Ph.D. on “The Highly Sensitive Person” also known as sensory processing sensitivity. I consider myself to be a highly sensitive person and enjoy being the therapist to help highly sensitive clients along their journeys.

I enjoy going hiking, yoga, antique shopping and time with my partner and cat in my free time.
